Abolition Action Committee

The following is from the Abolition Action Committee Website:

How do you spell "hypocrisy"?

"Every person, however frail or vulnerable, has a place and a purpose in this world. Every person has a special dignity. This right to life cannot be granted or denied by government, because it does not come from government, it comes from the Creator of life."

--George W. Bush

The Death House

About the Death House

A woman gives up her son for adoption and, nearly two decades later, finds him on trial for capital murder. She is reunited with him before he is sentenced to die.

Two Oklahoma women take different paths when their grandchild is murdered. One becomes the leader of the victims' rights movement in her state and advocates the death penalty, while the other becomes the leader of an anti- death penalty group

What is it like for a man to sit on death row for 27 years waiting to die? Why are so many condemned inmates going to court to try to quicken their executions?

These are the stories that you'll find in The Death House. The Death House is different from other death penalty sites because it brings you objective reporting, and the human drama behind the death penalty. The Death House talks to defense lawyers, death row inmates, victims´┐Ż families and the prosecutors
